About the Author

Hello, my name is Jozef Rothstein and I have been writing and entertaining most of my life.  Just about every aspiring actor/writer/director in Los Angeles at some point in time moonlights as a waiter.  This was also the obvious choice for me since a job slinging Matzo Ball soups was flexible enough to allow me to audition at a moments notice while also covering the high cost of living, acting classes, headshots and my mounting credit card debt.  But don’t think the owners of these fine establishments didn’t know how badly you needed their crappy job in order to pursue the golden dream.  So after ten long, hard years, I finally graduated from the school of hard knocks with a Doctorate’s Degree in Drama from a very popular Jewish Deli.  I was more of a witness than an active participant in this field of study but my observations ranged from the inconceivably nerve-racking to the down right bizarre.  I was fortunate enough to walk away in one piece and also with a very rich reservoir from which to draw my ramblings.  So, whether you work in the restaurant business, have ever dreamed of becoming a movie star, love celebrity gossip or simply enjoy the misfortune placed on others please subscribe and check in regularly to the exciting world of  “As the Matzo Ball Turns.”   Thank you for tuning in!!!!
